Light electro mech manufacturer of low volume, medium cost products is looking for a broad based Production / Manufacturing Engineer. Ideally HNC qualified you will have maybe a couple of years good experience in production engineer for a similar industry.
Role will cover: New Product Introduction - working with design, R&D, purchasing etc to decide best manufacturing method for the product etc
Process engineering – supporting the product when introduction – solving any technical issues, designing jigs, fixtures, assembly aids etc
Ideally you will have light electro mech or electronics manufacturing experience – sheet metal work, plastic moulding, SMT/AI, wave soldering experience
Some CAD experience would be useful
Broad based and very interesting role in a small dept
